*Benefits of Private Lessons*

For private lessons, students are able to focus better and are taught in a way that specifically meets their own unique needs.

​

Students are able to focus on supplemental exercises created specifically for them for better technique.

 

Teachers can meet a child where they are and help them develop an individual game plan to prepare them for more dance opportunities and goals.  This helps students learn how to set goals – long term, and weekly goals.

​

Often in group classes, there is only a limited time to review a child's work and understanding. That may not always be enough. Having private lessons gives students an extra chance to review the areas in which they may be struggling. 

 

Sometimes students may not be as willing to ask questions in a group class, but working with a private teacher gives them more confidence and the freedom to speak out
